Les Chats de Mika
A picture book of my cat paintings, published in France by Éditions Akinomé.
The book introduces Japanese proverbs, expressions, and haiku related to cats, together with related expressions from French culture, accompanied by my paintings throughout the pages. Most of the works included were originally exhibited at my solo exhibition in Tokyo in autumn 2025.
The book also invites readers to enjoy the quiet spaces and simplicity of traditional ink painting.
This small and beautiful book (19 × 19 cm, 64 pages) brings together cats, traditional ink painting, and aspects of Japanese culture. I feel very grateful to have participated in a book that connects French and Japanese culture through my art.

日本の猫にまつわる諺や慣用句、俳句などを、フランス文化における関連表現とともに紹介した絵本です。各ページに、墨で描いた猫の絵が添えられています。掲載作品の多くは、2025年秋に東京で開催した個展で発表したものです。

The Fox who Hunts for Stars
I met the fox in a dream.
The fox said, "in the world where I dwell, wishes turn into stars. I am always searching for stars, because I journey through this world as a messenger, delivering your stars to God.”
Along the journey, the fox hops on clouds, dives into the Milky Way, rests on the fragments of the moon, plays with wind and water.

絵本「星を狩るキツネ」
ある晩、夢で出会ったキツネが言いました。
「君たちが願いごとをすると、その願いが星となって現れる世界に僕は棲んでいるんだ。僕はいつでも星を探してる。なぜなら僕は、君たちの願いを神様に届けるお使いとして、この世界を旅しているからね」
キツネは雲の上で踊り、天の川をわたり、月のカケラに腰をかけ、記憶の中の洞窟を散歩し、風や水と遊び、光を浴び、星を探しながら旅をしています。
